As part of our month-long partnership with Sea Otter Savvy, learn from a featured scientific illustrator on how to capture the charisma of sea otters on canvas.

Using the rare artistic medium Dura-Lar, learn specialized stenciling and color pencils techniques through step-by-step guidance by a master naturalist and artist. By layering reference materials under the Dura-Lar, participants will understand how to replicate intricate details through color-mixing and layering. This class is ideal for aspiring artists or creative nature lovers with no prior experience, only a passion for the arts and sciences.

No prior experience required. Participants will have a completed art piece to take home at the conclusion of the workshop. Open to ages 16+/all experience levels. All supplies included.
